It's been a whirlwind few days and now I will try to remember what happened when!  

This was the sight that greeted me this morning, Alan rocking the snowman socks.  He is definitely Christmas ready and has been since July! :-))


Agnes and Adrian arrived at 2.30pm and after a brief discussion we decided to take both cars just incase D and I had to head back for Alan for any reason.  

On the way to Aberfeldy we stopped off at Gloagburn to have a late lunch.  It was lovely and got us all in the mood for a good couple of days away.

By the time we got to our lodge at Aberfeldy it was 4.30 pm but feeling more like 10.30pm as it was pitch dark.  We managed to get inside and settled before the rain came on.  

We half thought about going to the Terrace Bar beside the pool for dinner but we were comfy and cosy so decided to get a takeaway from the main restaurant.  Phoned across then David and Adrian went to collect our food.

Spent the evening chatting and chilling and generally having a lovely relaxing time.  

We should make this an annual event.
