All Together For A Delayed Birthday

Clare and I had our day brightened considerably as Sam came strolling out of Chatham rail station this morning. We collected her and headed on back to our hotel where she showered and changed.
We then set off to drop Joshuas car at Halfords for a full service that he paid a not inconsiderable sum - to cut to the chase, they spent so long listing £2,500 of ‘work’ he needed to have done on a £1,500 car that they never actually did what he’d paid them to do.
Clare, Sam and I mooched around Strood, what a place, dirty, grimy, miserable, even the people looked miserable.
Rochester however was quite different, definitely in the Christmas spirit with a fair and market in the castle grounds.
Have braved torrential rain we collected the car and headed back to the hotel to meet a Joshua.
Gift time, Joshua seemed pleased with his gifts and we then went to a nearby restaurant for the birthday meal.
A great family evening before heading of To boy and girl rooms at the hotel and an early night ready for tomorrow.
