Silent night...

So quiet here this evening....

After church, we headed straight for Surrey to do a few jobs for friends arriving from much warmer climes later this week to spend Christmas in their UK home.

We reset the boiler and upped the temperature and extended the hours of heating. D went equipped with tools to mend a broken table leg and did an excellent job, while I pootled getting other things ready for them. It’s a lovely home!

We left later than expected ...or does it just feel late on these long dark evening?

All sorted, and I decorated our tree when we got home. It’s looking good in red and gold.
