Book spree

A trip into the city today to catch up with a friend and to redeem an Abbey's gift card I discovered in my drawer while packing.  (Spotted a tawny frogmouth hiding in the robinia this evening.  Haven't seen any in our backyard for years.  See extra—mostly leaves.)
