Winterwood

Yay! No Moon blip today. I got up early and went for a walk through a local Wood. As well as being very cold, the light was fantastic and I took gazillions of photos. I also did a bit of birdwatching too and got Great Spotted Woodpecker, Grey Wagtail, Sparrowhawk, Jay, Bullfinch and a host of common species besides. This along with a year tick of Red Kite yesterday, England stuffing the All Blacks, my team winning 3-1 in the FA Cup and a really enjoyable family get together have made for an excellent weekend!
