Vantage

Taking advantage of a beautiful day I drove back down to God’s own county to see Mum.

Having driven up and down the Berwick by-Pass regularly since it opened it’s only recently I spotted this vantage point of the Royal Border Bridge. I’ve been desperate to stop but it’s either been bad weather or I’ve been in a hurry to get where I was going....or I was headed north with nowhere to stop.

Today my stars aligned...the weather was perfect and since no one was actually expecting me I wasn’t in a hurry. Virgin even came up trumps with a train!
