Catsalon.

Took a trip to my favourite garden cente, Truvi, without the dogs as Buster would have disgraced himself on the artificial Christmas trees like last year.
It seems they have teamed up with an animal rescue centre and have created a "cat room" behind glass, containing furniture but also lots of cat toys and equipment, all for sale in the store, of course, and two live adult cats from the rescue centre which are currently up for adoption. The idea is that they get a holiday in the cat room for two weeks before going back to their cages and being replaced by two other cats for another two weeks. This exhibit got lots of attention, and people were making note of the rescue number and admiring the very attractive moggies, both luxuriating in the semblance of a real home. What a good idea I thought, and I'm sure they'll be adopted.
