The Spice of Life

Plenty of variety in this potful of seed raised narcissus.  Every one is different.   One or two rather nice ones, the darker yellow being quite uncommon in the early flowering species.  I will grow them on separately next year with a view to selecting the better ones for onward propagation.   Mad or ? .....

While on the topic of madness, despite never having voted Tory, I have  a certain respect for Teresa May.  How she stays sane amid the current madness I do not know.   With so many conflicting arguments on the various aspects of trying to extract the British ingredients from the European cake, she's always going to have vociferous critics.  Having been handed a poisoned chalice, it says much for her inner strength that she has not dropped it and just run away.

Forget the economic arguments.  Forget being the best ... or selecting the best .... For me the philosophy below trumps all (if you'll forgive the t word)

Together we stand.  Divided we fall.
