The Snowman

The day started with BB’s rugby.  There was no proper opposition today, so the S1s and S2s played a match.  BB enjoyed it, and as the weather was quite bright, it wasn’t too bad for the parents who were spectating either.

We then rushed home, and got ready to head south to Newcastle to visit Auntie E and Uncle J for our annual pre-Christmas weekend.  We stopped in Belford for a quick lunch before heading on our way again.

After more refreshments at E and J’s we headed into the town centre to check out Fenwick’s windows – which has become an annual tradition for us.  After a quick look around town we headed home to crack open a bottle of fizz, before going out to a local restaurant.  The food was lovely and we had lots of laughs.  Once home, those who managed to stay awake caught up with Strictly.  I saw half of it, before  my eyes closed.
