Cartmel walk

Rob has taken on a winter bird survey and we went off today to find the route and do the first one. It is around the lanes near Cartmel. I have never walked around here before, it is very charming and quiet.
We saw a good number of hedgerow birds and a couple of buzzards.
Just at the end of the route were four Alpacas grazing near the lane. I love them and would have some if circumstances allowed.
Then home for more food!
