Spring is in the Air

The Tall Asphodel is in bloom. According to my book (The Floral Charm of Cyprus by Valerie Sinclair), it is well known for its medicinal qualities.. for intestinal disorders and dermatitis and shoemakers use it for glue!

Greek legend says that its roots feed the souls of the dead, and it is often seen at gravesites.

I just think it has beautiful flowers:)
