A Cold Start

There was a sharp frost overnight and I had to clear the frost off my car windows before heading out early this morning at 0C. Mid morning G and I went to the Holt Lowes aiming to get some frosty cobweb shots, but the sun was out, it was 2C and most of the frost had gone. It was a new route for us though and we both liked it and found lots to photograph. The Lowes is a 123 acre heath which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. I've just read on Wiki that it had wood horsetail at its only known site in East Anglia, so we'll have to look out for that.
