tranquil tuesday

A beautifully sunny December day today so that lured us out of hibernation to visit RHS Hyde Hall for a little stroll and a bit more Christmas shopping in their gift shop! Very few people up there today when we arrived which is always a bonus and it was lovely to enjoy the scenery and wildlife in the peace and quiet! And lovely to see the structure in the cottage garden after all the flowers and frilliness have disappeared!

Added bonus today was visiting the local post office at the right time to avoid all the Xmas queues! There may have been a queue after I'd finished though.... ;)
