Back to Earth with a crash.
Back to the office after the Vietnam trip and, by lunchtime, it was revealed that the programming project for which I went out there has been canned.
That’s two months of my working life wasted (third big project that has been cancelled under me in the last few years). For some people, it was two years down the drain.
