An unusual hallway.

Yesterday Beth and I unloaded all the logs from my car that her friend Bob had given her.

That was the sum total of our exercise. Wet weather set in and we decided to stay in until the evening. We were invited to Jill and Peter's for dinner along with 4 other friends. (see yesterday's blip).
I took this photo (after midnight) of the wooden panel in their hallway. It was painted by the previous owner and J & P loved it so much that they have kept it.

Their HUGE dog Oliver takes up residence at the end of the hall. It causes great hilarity when we have to attempt to step over him to get to the dining room!

We all had a great night. Good food, good wine and superb company. The best combination ever!
