HAPPY CHAPPY....

... no not this Kestrel juvenile.... me!!!

Have been wondering when we may see the Kestrels back again after they literally went overnight from being around here most days.

Went up to a new area of the development this morning, and noticed over a block or two two birds on a light pole. mmmm looks like a Kestrel and sure enough by the time I got closer they were still there and found a couple of young birds "fluffing" around on a very dull morning.

Let's hope they are shown the way to closer home by mum and dad!!!

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE to see the feathers still forming. 

Also found a pair of duckies enjoying the rain in the new reworked dam. On the way back found this Black Swan closely watching my movements.
