Busy little spider....

I wondered how long it had taken to spin the web ?  Surely I would have seen it if it had been there yesterday?   Then I noticed the raindrops  resting on an inner web while the outside was dry.  We hadn't had any rain for a few hours  (but continuous rain again tonight- I wonder if it's survived.)
