A walk on the beach!

Terry and i had a fabulous afternoon and evening!   first we went to Delam Lake, a small lake with a nicely groomed trail all around it!   It wasn't too cold, and took us about an hour to go all the way around!   We both really needed to get out of the house, feels like we've been stuck in doors for a while.   Then onto North Sydney to visit Richard in his winter abode....we needed to find something to do for the next hour and half .... cos it gets dark at 5pm we knew we would be off the trail by then, and dinner reservation was for 7pm.   anyway, the 3 of us tried this place that has always looks a bit scuzzy from the outside..... Dooley's Pool Hall and Bar!   so we ventured in and were pleasantly surprised.....it was huge, and apparently 15 pool tables!   Didn't have time for a game but had a beer and chatted with Richard.   Then Terry and i went to the Black Spoon for dinner!   wow, it was amazing, probably the best little restaurant in North Sydney!

so now we know where to go for a beer and a game of pool....winters here can be challenging and we're always looking for places to have a bit of fun at once in a while!
