Work

Joedy described Rosie as being a stubborn young mule lovely young horse who needed time to understand what he wanted. She was going to take more than twice as long to get to know the basics BUT when she eventually learnt what was expected of her, she would never forget it.

Writing this 20 years later, I can confirm Jodey hit the nail on the head. A stubborn, now old, mule lovely maturing lady who is just as insensitive as she was back then and has not forgotten anything. Over those 20 years, Rosie has been a 100% insurance policy for every rider who has ridden on her.

She is too damn lazy to get worked up about anything. When we were later to put her in harness for carriage driving, without any professional help, she just did it as though it was quite natural. The downside is that you usually have to force her to work rather than take a nap which is her favourite past time..
