All is not as it seems.

For those of you who may follow Coronation St on the TV - we occasionally watch the odd episode - you may be aware and disturbed by, of one of the current story lines where one of the stars is being dominated/abused by his on-screen wife.

Well, sad to say, I am suffering a little bit of this myself.

I know. You wouldn't think so when you see me as I try to hide my fears and sadness and keep things to myself, but today has been the culmination of a number of things which have, quite frankly, gone too far.

This is a tee-shirt which I bought myself - I know, I shouldn't indulge myself without asking - and when Mrs DD saw it she took it off me and hid it away from me saying that I could not wear it until December. It turned up at the bottom of my bed through the night on Friday.

And today, I have been forced to drink - much against my better judgement - a bottle of beer!

She opened it, used some for the beer and beef casserole she was making, put the lid back on and placed it in the fridge telling me that I would have to drink it this evening or it would go flat.

If any of you out there have any advice I would be most grateful to receive it. I promise not to let Mrs DD know where it came from!
