Snowman

In Newcastle for the morning, but no lectures, no concerts . . . shopping! And quite painless it was too - thanks goodness for John Lewis is all I can say, they never fail and the staff are so helpful too. Fenwick's windows are a treat, as usual. And we can never resist their cheese counter. 

Home via a place near Carlisle where you choose a Christmas tree whilst it is still growing, it is cut and you take it home. We might get it up and decorated tomorrow.
