Hey Crow!

I was thinking of blipping our alley as part of Kendall's one street topic, so I walked down the alley that is our street. We don't have a "real" street. That is behind our house and used to be a mass of blackberry bushes until the city cleared it to put in water meter boxes for the houses along the alley. Anyhow, long story short, as I walked along the alley I snapped this photo of our resident crows hanging out on the wire. They had already partaken of the dog food we put on our deck railing for them and were just relaxing together enjoying the respite from the rain that has been falling off and on all day. I liked the patterns that the telephone pole and wires made along with those three crows. Of course I had to play with it in Photoshop. This time I used the "Stairs" filter in Nik Software's Color Efex Pro Detail Stylizer. And then Poster Edges in Photoshop to finish the job. Press "L" for the large version.

This afternoon Arvin and I are going to a party at one of our music club buddies' houses. Isabelle always throws a fabulous party. She cooks everything herself and makes a bunch of yummy munchies for before dinner. We come home happily fed and having enjoyed the company of our buddies in the Bellingham Music Club.
