I'm guilty of two #leithwalkshops in two days. But the Walk continues to offer great material. And this place is new. And I was pressed for time. And, Reader, I did not stop to shop.

Busy day, with a bit of writing first thing, a spinning class, a research group lunch, chairing an event at the Royal Society of Edinburgh in the afternoon, and then a book event at St Cecilia's in the evening. It's the first time I've been in St. Cecilia's since it reopened. Very attractive indeed.

And meanwhile, Theresa May limps on.
