Lazy start to the day, nurse appointment for monthly injection of zolodex. That's the beaut that goes in my belly to keep my ovaries shut down, chemical menopause. Poor nurse admitted that it's quite a big needle! No kidding. Work all afternoon then popped round to a neighbour to deliver flowers left with me this morning. He lost his Mum on Friday. The big C claimed her, she was 88, and died at home. He will be lost. Lived with her his whole life. I stayed a while listening to his stories. It's a shame we didn't get to know her, we,are all so busy doing....
