a wink from God

This morning I got an urge to take my good camera to the dog park. I rarely do this because part of my dog park experience is to cross over the creek on a log and walk in a less traveled woodsy area. And I don't really want to risk falling into the creek with my camera around my neck. But today I did, with hopes of seeing something interesting.
Well, no sooner had I successfully crossed the creek, when a stranger came up and said it was a good thing I brought my camera today because there was a Western Screech Owl in a tree up ahead.
And here it is. And this little "coincidence" made me insanely happy all day!
