Joshua's match today was away at St Austell, a ground that takes some finding.
Three years of coaching came together in an hours rugby. St Austell had thirty players and wanted to play four quarters which meant the Falmouth lads were playing 'fresh legs' every fifteen minutes. The lads played their hearts out from the first to the final whistle and finished up winning 33-28. Joshua, captain for the day, led the team well and to their first win this season.
On the way home we called into Carnon Downs for tropical fish. Forty-five minutes to study the tanks before selection. Joshua picked them but I think of the four of us it is I who enjoy the fish the most.
'Granny's' desk is now in Joshua's re-arranged bedroom all ready for the birthday gift unveiling on Tuesday.
