Advent Calendar Challenge - 2nd Snow / White

Mum and I headed out for our customary Sunday morning coffee break ar a local garden centre, Ruxley Garden Centre near Swanley, Kent. We were aware that they tended to go "all out" for Christmas, and being Scrooge-like would probably avoid it like the plague. However, it was convenient for some shopping we wanted later.

We found that half the outside trading area had been turned over to an ice rink, and young and old alike were having a whale of a time. In a quieter area, some reindeer were enjoying their roomy, straw-lined pen building themselves up for the journey round the world delivering presents to all good children. Meanwhile, Santa had a full diary of appointments with eager young children, keen to tell him their hopes and wishes for Christmas.

As for Mum and I, we had a relaxing cup of coffee in the newly opened restuarant before making our way to a nearby trading estate forthe rest of our shopping.
