Only 2 ways out

Well there are now only 2 ways out of the village with another road being blocked off. The flooding on this road is not really the issue, but it was so icy this afternoon i thought i might end up in the flooded field!

Had a slow start to the day today and laid around in bed until 12pm...very unlike me. Went to Pocklington to do some food shopping as needed to get supplies for the Dukan diet today! Had planned to bake my christmas cake, however realised when i got home i should have soaked my fruit over night. Fruit now soaking and i'll have to bake it tomorrow. Started on the christmas day plan today, i want it to go without a hitch so am feeling the need to plan every detail. This will be the first christmas lunch i have ever cooked and it will the first time i have cooked for more than 4 people, so feel it will be a baptism of fire.

Have chilled later this afternoon and tidied my photos on my computer. Carl has spent the day conquering the world on his computer!

Am going to try hard and not go to bed to early this evening....
