Giants

I hadn't planned to blip a flower today, but I saw these giant orange roses at the market and couldn't resist.  I've never seen roses this size before, some almost 5" across.  Had to touch them to see if they were real or fake.

Still working away at the calendar, searching for new images that speak to me. It struck me that there is a big difference between pictures that are purely representational, as in, 'This is what it looks like', and ones that show a point of view.  I search through galleries of images looking for the ones that show that the artist has thought about his/her subject and its meaning.  That's what makes for great art.
