Christmas is coming!

Trip to Leeds today with daughter L. Not much shopping to do, so intention was coffee then lunch and cocktails! Having treated myself to a new handbag and purse courtesy of some vouchers of my son’s which he had been unable to use online (and he couldn’t possibly venture out to the shops could he?!), we went into the Victoria Quarter for lunch. I had quinoa, wild rice and sweet potato salad (pictured) and it was yummy. We had a large Rhubarb gin cocktail (oh, okay, we had 2!) and having spent a nice couple of hours over lunch we wandered back via the Trinity Centre. With a while before the train, we decided another drink was in order, and went into a very nice brasserie for espresso martinis. Train back was mega-crowded, but on home turf I then met friends in the local pub for 3 and go. More gin! A good day!
