Wide Wednesday

It's tenuous, but this river has been here for a very long time, which makes it something old. In more recent history, there were thriving industries along the banks of this river. Just a few hundred yards from this spot, there was a gunpowder works (established in 1798 and in operation until about 1935). This river was used to transport the product.
