In pursuit of gin

In an attempt to kick-start some festive spirit in to the household, I finally started making some Christmas food. Two large bowls in the kitchen, each containing fruit soaking in alcohol - one is for the Christmas cake, the other for the pudding. The aroma is glorious!

Another evening at Pier Red where MrM was playing with the jazz band. The ladies were in good spirits, in more ways than one! This delightful cherub, in pursuit of his large winged-bottle of gin, was part of the seasonal decorations in the bar. The flowerpots? Who knows!
