Charles Rennie Mackintosh

This is the latest sculpture from Andy Scott and much different from his other works like the Kelpies etc.  Its in bronze and stands 2.8 metres (9 feet) tall, and is on a plynth 6.5 ft high.  It weighs in at 3 tons.  I have shown it in context in the Extra.

It was unveiled on Monday - the 90th anniversary of Mackintosh's  death.

I was there to take my usual set of sculpture images and during the short time I was there another 4 people came along to photograph it.  Someone also turned up in a taxi just to look at it for a few minutes.
