The old bus stop
Took a nostalgic trip with my parents to Walton-on-the-Naze this morning. We went to many spots in the town that held special memories for them. Their old house, my grandparent's house, the school where they met and, most romantic of all, the bus stop where they would often say goodbye to each other.
I took lots of pictures, and I really wish we'd planned it so we could have recreated some of their wedding pictures. Photographing outside my grandparents' house I noticed a lot of 'keep out' and 'no cold caller' notices in the window. When the present, and rather grumpy looking, owner came out we felt the need to wander off as if we really weren't up to anything.
I took some shots outside the church where they were married. But I like this one best. The bus stop is a more realistic slice of their life then and this pose is nice and informal.
