Raven mad

Not a bad day today - bright, but with a biting wind.

I went to Dunollie Castle today having been asked to give some advice to the new gardener, who rather like the gardener at Stonefield is young and untrained. She is very keen, but has a huge job on. Unlike Stonefield, various kids' and other groups use the garden for various purposes, so she'll need to be patient if a bunch of folk come in and start hacking evergreens to make wreaths!

I'm hoping to involve Keep Oban beautiful in some of the clearing up - have some nice big bonfires - and once cleared up we'll see what can be done.  This carved raven is the work of a local chainsaw artist. Not sure who the onlooker is!

Getting jobs is easy if you don't ask to be paid!
