What the actual .... ???

My parents live in this quiet old neighbourhood and most houses and gardens here look rather smart, neat and tidy.  For many years their neighbours to the right have put up those - in my opinion - tasteless and ugly red lights in one of their bedroom windows and called it a Christmas-decoration.  I've gotten used to this...kind of...but today they really pushed my limit!  They've now covered a large dead tree stumb (which is a horrible eyesore to begin with!) in blue - BLUE! - fairy lights!!! Blue lights should absolutely be banned by law on anything but police cars and ambulances!  

I can't even.... *sigh*  
There should be some kind of Christmas-decorations-protection-commitee, right?
