What a waste!

An emergency blip.  I was down in Lancashire to regional HQ for a meeting sorting out next years work programme.  After the meeting I wanted to get back to Penrith to help Kanyl with a job that was likely to need 4 hands.  The result was obviously going to be very little time for blipping.

When I pulled into Forton services for a break the tower caught my eye.  I remember many decades away when the room at the top was a smart restaurant and there was even a viewing (IIRC) platform on top.  Soon after that the restaurant closed as dis the viewing platform.  Now it seems to stand empty and neglected, by the look of the outside not even very well maintained.
