And put starz in their eyes?
And so it was that I sat in the garden tonight from 1045, til 1115, waiting to see the Geminid Meteor Shower.
I didn't see any, but I finally got the settings right on the camera for this.
The wobble was caused by my remote not working, and Bean Cat casing pieces of paper around the legs of my tripod.
Why can I not see them?
I can't believe these meteor showers have been around for years - I remember when we were between houses - living at me mams over Christmas in 1999, taking thedog for a walk (not the night she got run over) - but standing in the cold looking up at the sky and being completely confused at the sheer volume of shooting stars I was seeing - only ever having seen maybe 4 or 5 in my whole life before then.
Now I actively take time, and sit and watch.... and I don't see them. I know I'm going to wake up about 3 and get up and have another look.
I still have my coat on and I'm preparing to go back out.
I do love the sky.
I saw my dad today; he was sitting on a hedge, all puffed up like he had had a blow dry gone wrong, as soon as I took my camera out he flew away. He never lets me take a picture of him.
Question Time is On. I think my head is going to explode.
