Time Standing Still

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I think today might have been the longest day ever. Thankfully I had booked the day off as I spent most of the morning feeling sorry for myself. The Prince came home to at lunchtime to say hello which was lovely.

Rod, who also didn’t make it to work, sent a text to ask if I wanted to go for lunch in The Old Bell. It did me some good to get out of the house but I didn’t have much of an appetite! Rod had a hair of the dog but I stuck to tea and juice. I have never been someone who can do that the following day. I tend to want alcohol as much as toothache!

The rest of the day was spent with Netflix and a headache. Roll on tomorrow.
