Moon in the Shire

Driving home tonight I saw an interesting looking moon so I pulled the car over. Took a few pictures before things got too cold. Luckily I had the tripod with me.

We've had our first snow fall of winter and everything had a strange glow about it. Whilst loosing the detail of the moon there was something about it I liked. Perhaps the car that moved slowly down the road.

Anyway..... Aberdeenshire by night.
