Christmas Celebrations

What a day!!

We had a Christmas lunch for 130 elderly people who normally attend our Monday Meet programme throughout the year.

The 'chef' & her helpers did very well with turkey, gammon, roast potatoes & all the trimmings!
This was followed by a choice of dessert lovingly made by a very talented lady :)

I chose trifle which was topped by a candy cane made of rock. There was also chocolate mousse or a fruit salad of 13 different fruits.

In the evening I attended the WI Christmas party with more food, a Secret Santa, raffle & live entertainment :-)

Christmas has definitely started now!
