Travelling to Holland

We left home at 4.45 am and arrived at our hotel in Amsterdam at 3.45 pm. We managed a walk in the last daylight - much needed after a long day in the car. 

The boys have been so good. They had 45 mins out of the car on the ferry at 6.45 am and 2 little stops on the drive through Germany - otherwise they have just slept in their crates in the back of the car. 

I was met by André from the Dutch Dog Club in the hotel. He had already checked me in, so he had my hotel key. 

I had an hour to rest, then he took me out for dinner and now at 7 pm I, the boys and I are back in our room, ready for an early night.

This is just across the street from our hotel - quite a view! The hotel is called 'The Lake'.
