Anticipation

Waiting for this amaryllis I bought at Trader Joe’s to burst open. It is sitting in a wax holder, I don’t have to water or anything per instructions. My kind of flower growing!

The other amaryllis is a double and is in a pot with soil. It looks like it will bloom soon and is supposed to be pink. However one stem is 18 inches tall! I don’t know if this is normal or what but I just hope it won’t fall over.
