The good old days

Went to see Mum today. We sat and wrote a few Christmas cards together. When I arrived I was informed she was in the pub! Seems the new building they constructed over the summer is called The Chase Inn and is kitted out with a bar in one corner and the jukebox in the other. Anyway, there was probably about a dozen of the residents sitting playing bingo. It had a great cosy atmosphere and on a grey cold day like today, psychologically gets them "out" of the lounge for an hour which I'm sure is good.
