A little ray of sunshine

This morning I woke up to see a blanket of frost over everything. Grabbing my camera I rushed out to take photos of frosty grass, leaves, ice etc. As I was hunting through the borders I came across this little (only about 2in across) sunflower surviving against all the odds. Everything around it was dead.
Bought the tree this afternoon and made my annual batch of fudge to give as little gifts.
