Flowers and Baubles

Began the day at Zion's school to watch their Christmas production, which was lovely, though frustrating because couldn't see him very well, and no-one was taking photos, so wasn't sure it was allowed... such a privilege to be able to be here for that and be a bit involved in his life - his whole class were angels, but then he came back on as a donkey... what??

Then we had a long chat with our minister over lunch here.

Then cleaning and shopping and decorating (flowers with baubles with selfie in main photo) and cooking for a wine and petiscos evening here at our house, for the folk who pray for us. So, so good to have them here and be able to chat long, couple of photos in extras, notice the dinosaur that's joined the Nativity. 

Advent reading was Psalm 1, the last line reads:

The Lord knows the way of the righteous,
    but the way of the wicked will perish.

So easy to give up on justice and honesty and caring for others, but God loves us enough to warn us that going that way really is not worth it.
