First Light on the Beach

Went looking for a sunrise this morning in London. The sky was clear except for a band of cloud on the eastern horizon. Looked promising but the sun couldn't break through the cloud. I was left with some fairly flat light a grey sky and some dull shots of tower bridge. The tide was out so I was able to get down on the beach and take this. It's a different world just 20 or 30 steps down from the embankment.
