Where Are All the People?

We hadn't been dining out much in the last few weeks, but we did some catching up this week -- dinner at the Fountain Bistro and the Copper Hog (Thursday and Friday), and lunch today at La Fiamma. Cynthia described today's meal in her blip.

I can't remember seeing La Fiamma look so empty, but we don't usually go there at two o'clock in the afternoon. I'm not complaining -- it makes conversation a lot easier.

Don't let the bright sun fool you -- there were some sunny intervals today between the dark clouds and showers, but they only lasted a couple of minutes, and there was quite a chill factor from the strong wind.

We enjoyed getting away from the construction mess in our house, but we weren't sorry to settle back in for the evening.
