Beach Volleyball

Today we spent the day mainly just wondering around Papeete, I must admit I am sunburnt, as it was very hot as well as humid. It wasn't very busy as its Sunday (we are a day behind NZ in Tahiti) so most most people were at church. We saw a couple of very beautiful churches, the port and the very beautiful waterfront though swimming is not allowed there apparently. We came across the Oceania beach volleyball championships down in the waterfront area and much to our surprise NZ was there ( this before we actually new what it was) a game had just finished so we decided to return at 3pm to watch NZ in the final. Then managing to find an information centre we went to an exhibition of crafts from the Tuamotu archipelago which were all amazing, I do wish I had bought something apparently it only happens once a year. The final of the volleyball was amazing-NZ vs Australia with two very close sets but Aussie won the game after they won the first two sets, as its best out of 3. The NZ (and the Aussies of course) guys played amazingly.
I can't help thinking of my friends still at school in NZ, hehe I have to say you/they are very unlucky unfortunate. Well they will be having awesome holidays soon.
