Landing at RAF Valley

My friend John manoeuvring his virtual McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom onto the runway in Anglesey probably (I dare not ask) after a successful bombing raid on Brussels and Downing Street.

Fantasies and myths based on Britain/England "winning the war and losing the peace" (a simplification of complex emotional prejudices, I'll grant) are still screwing up our once prized claims of pragmatism and practicality. Still, we can look forward to the pantomime continuing for at least a couple of years, so it isn't all bad news.
